Appointments Policy
Arrival
· To ensure the Practice runs on time, patients are asked to arrive five minutes before their allotted appointment time.
· The Practitioner allocates a slot of 20 minutes for each returning patient. This time is for the Practitioners convenience and is not the amount of time of the treatment.
· If a patient is more than 5 minutes late for an appointment they may not be seen, as the Practitioner will be preparing to see the next patient. In this event the patient may be charged the full amount for the missed appointment.
Rescheduling appointments
· If a patient needs to reschedule their appointment, they are asked to give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice in order to receive a full refund. If 24hrs is not given the full fee is charged.
· Patients are asked to contact the Practice by email at info@almaosteopathicpractice.co.uk
· If you have paid the full amount for your initial care in one transaction at the start of your care and wish to cancel at any time, you will be refunded the remaining amount minus an administration fee of 2% of the initial payment.
Did Not Attend (DNA)
· A patient will be charged the full amount if they fail to attend an appointment, without contacting the Practice.
· If a patient continues to cancel at short notice or DNA they may not be offered further appointments.
· In extreme circumstances fees may be waived at the discretion of the Practice.
Swapping Appointments
· Swapping of appointments between patients is not permitted by the Practice unless by prior agreement with the Principal Osteopath.
